The hotel had a charming and cozy atmosphere, with lovely decor that made me feel right at home. The general areas were easily accessible for senior people like myself, with no stairs or obstacles to navigate. It was a delight to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without any difficulty.
Only wish the children working there had offered some assistance with luggage.

We stayed 3 nights and had really lovely time. Without doubt the location was super adjacent to coast, the village centre and the harbour It included great-sized bathroom. Food for breakfast was fine. Truly enjoyed staying here; we would return anytime.

We stayed at the charming cottage apartment for a couple of days and it was just perfect. Cosy, clean, and with plenty of storage space, we felt right at home. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the village. The amenities like a dishwasher and microwave were a great addition. Plus, no wifi and poor mobile reception made us completely disconnect and enjoy our break to the fullest. a perfect getaway that we would return to in a heartbeat.
Couldn't recommend this hotel more.

We had a fantastic stay at Grimes Nook in Staithes. The cottage was cozy and clean, providing us with everything we needed for a relaxing break. The location in the heart of Staithes was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the village and enjoy the coastal views. We particularly appreciated the peace and quiet without any WiFi or mobile reception, allowing us to truly disconnect from the outside world. The lack of signal also made us ignore our phones and enjoy each other's company even more. The layout of the cottage was well-designed, providing ample storage in the bedroom and a comfortable living room. The kitchen had all the necessary amenities, including a dishwasher and microwave. We didn't have to worry about anything. Although there were some minor issues mentioned in other reviews, such as worn sofas and bedding, they didn't significantly impact our stay. we had a wonderful experience at Grimes Nook and would highly recommend it to others seeking a peaceful and relaxing getaway.
